How suitable Bios problems like any professional maintenance by reprogramming

Basic Input Output System (BIOS) updates are published to include support for new devices or to correct specific errors. The BIOS update procedures vary by product and installing an incorrect BIOS update can seriously damage your system. You are responsible for any failure due to incorrect use of these updates. For this reason, Packard Bell does not recommend updating the BIOS unless you are sure that it corrects a specific problem without risk.

Before you start installing the latest version of the BIOS for your specific model, note that the following steps are generic and may not specifically correspond to the files you

Visit the Download Drivers section of the Packard Bell Support Web site.

Write the name of your model, and select your product in the listing of suggested models.

Select Bios and download the latest BIOS.

Click Save and select where you want to download the file.

Right-click the downloaded zip file, then click Extract All Files. Double-click the folder that has the same name as the downloaded file.

Plug in your AC adapter if you are using a mobile device.

Double-click the Windows folder to open it.

Double-click the BIOS.bat or Update.bat file. If none of these files are available, double-click the executable file. The installation is automatic.

Restart the computer when the installation is complete.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

If your computer stops unexpectedly after the BIOS update procedure, perform a static discharge of your motherboard:

Unplug your power cord and remove the battery.

Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, then release the button.

Reconnect the power cord, replace the battery, and turn on the computer.
